Black Fusionist Society (BFS) is a historical fiction narrative told via collaborative storytelling and a variety of media as a means of creating contemporary Black folklore. Black Fusionist Society is based off of the Wilmington Massacre of 1898. The text and imagery found here serve as foundation to the BFS narrative. Collaboration and happenings with other artists of the African Diaspora will continue to expand Black Fusionist Society mythos.
