JELA, MYTHIC BEING OF SOCIAL DEATH (MALEVOLENT)
Jela is the personification of Blackness as other, Black body as object, and anti-blackness. They are a predator. In the presence of Jela one experiences a profound sense of dread, sorrow, and hatred. Jela is known to take the form of fabric, and refuse with the arms and legs of its victims dragging it along on the ground.
